The Bologna Airport Has a Lamborghini Follow-Me Car
This is actually the seventh time Lamborghini and the Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport have had an agreement.
This Lamborghini Huracán EVO will be at work leading airplanes around the Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport until January 2022.
Car: Lamborghini Huracán EVO
Location: Bologna, Italy
Camera: Canon EOS 7D, 35 mm, f/7.1, 1/2,500
These Huracáns run a naturally aspirated 640 HP 5.2-liter V10 engine. This one also has a grey-green paint job (called Verde Turbine Matt) with a checkered design on top (that color’s called Arancione Matt) and text that says “Follow Me in Our Beautiful Country” with an Italian flag.
Of course, since it’s an actual working car, it’s got flashing warning lights and radio equipment that connects the driver to pilots and the control tower.
Driving that thing is obviously one of the better airport jobs. Buzzing up and down the runway would definitely be more fun than patting down tourists or hurling luggage onto a conveyor belt, at least.
Keep your eyes open for it next time you fly into Bologna, I guess!
